Site Facilities and Access

  • Main Entrance: The site is bordered by a “Mountain road” running vertically along the right side.
  • Farm Hub: Located on the right near the road, this area includes the reception, the main parking area, an honesty shop, and two cow sheds.
  • Site Paths: A central brown path leads from the main parking area directly into the glamping field.
  • Secondary Parking: A dedicated “safari tent parking” area is located midway down the central path for closer access to the tents.
  • Contact Information: The top right corner provides the physical address in Caerphilly (CF83 8ER), a contact number, and social media icons.

Glamping Accommodations

The key indicates symbols for two types of accommodation (safari tents and railway carriages), as well as amenities like hot tubs, firepits, and wood stores. There are five main units mapped out on the site:

  • Cynefin: A railway carriage situated in the upper central section of the field, equipped with a hot tub, firepit, and wood store.
  • Cartref: A second railway carriage located just south of Cynefin, also featuring a hot tub, firepit, and wood store.
  • Dan y Dderwen: A safari tent positioned near the top right edge of a prominent blue pond, complete with a hot tub, firepit, and wood store.
  • Y Ddraenen Wen: A safari tent located on the far left side of the map, situated near the pond with a hot tub and firepit.
  • Dan y Ffawydden: A safari tent located in the lower central area of the map, featuring a hot tub, firepit, and wood store.

Map Elements and Features

  • Natural Features: The grounds are illustrated with scattered trees, small yellow and purple flowers, and a large blue pond on the western side of the site.
  • Orientation: A rustic North arrow is located in the top right corner, pointing straight up.
  • Legend: The top left corner contains a clear key defining the icons used throughout the map for easy navigation.
